I do believe this has been our trend, and I hope with every fiber that we choose to change it. The change has to come from us, as agents. If we commit to taking precautions the rest of the industry will follow. But we have to be willing to put our safety over a potential commission, to be accountable to ourselves and our loved ones for our own safety. There are tools available now that work to help us take proactive measures, so no longer do we have an excuse to meet a stranger without knowing who they are before we go. Dont wait until AFTER a crime happens to say you wish you would have done it differently, there are no do-overs.
