I do not like to plaster a pitty party on fb but i want to say this to truly make people stop and appreciate every moment. .from having our son with all he has been through that was just the beginning. .russ and i couldnt wait to welcome our precious daughter in to this world. .happy and healthy or so we thought..she has severe reflux which for the past 3 hours we have suctioned fluid coming from her nose and mouth while she struggles to breathe. .she cries for hours in pain as we try to comfort her..she has a milk allergy and can only take a special formula that u can only obtain by prescription and we fight with insurance just to get. .she also has laryngomalacia which cuts off her airway so something as simple as taking a bottle is a struggle for her. She barely is gaining weight. .she sees an ENT..GI a swallow specialist..has to go for a sleep study for apnea and has to have a gastric emptying test. .she screams with every bottle. .russ and i sleep in shifts because someone must be awake for when she has an episode and needs suctioning..our two kids have been through so much. .she is 7 weeks old and has endured so much yet through her all day screaming she finds moments to smile .o how i cherish them..russ and i are physically exhausted as is she. .we take turns holding her and comforting her while the other gives their time to hunter. .so why i am writing this..because i thank god for my children and i am glad i can provide the care they need but to make sure everyone holds their children close and be thankful for their health..we are blessed for what we have but hurt for what we have to witness our children go through. .please be thankful for what u have and cherish it..
