I do not personally know these folks but I can relate to their situation all too well. Last year, courtesy of Walla Walla County, I learned one cannot make food on a farm. The processing of popcorn grown on the family farm would not be permitted yet we could have a distillery, winery, brewery or meat packing plant. Got that? Time to place a Forever Home Wanted ad: Small popcorn processing business willing to relocate. Seeking a jurisdiction which effectively cuts through bureaucratic red tape and values small business.
