I do not recommend putting red wiggler worms in your gardens. They are composting worms, and top dwellers. Your garden soil would be too hot and nutrient low for red wigglers. What I always recommend is adding worm castings to your beds, and mulching. That will help establish a beneficial microbe colony in your gardens, which will attract deep burrowing earthworms like Alabama Jumpers (in our area).
