I dont care what technology is like when our son is in high school... He will be able to communicate and not rely on texting, Facebook and whatever else exists at that time for his primary communication. He will be able to do things like ask a girl out, to a dance, apologize etc. He will understand what his words do to someone on the other end in that moment. I can not believe how disconnected we have become with with each other while being more connected to the world. Think about it, how often do you have genuine face to face convos with those you once did? Now, all that seems to matter is that someone sees our thoughts and opinions on everything. Everythings s debate. Could you go a week without checking twitter, Facebook and texting? How much more time would you have for real relationships? Just thoughts this morning.
