I dont compare where I am with where everyone else is. It doesnt move me farther ahead, improve my situation, or help me find peace. It just feeds my shame, fuels my feelings of inadequacy, and ultimately, it keeps me stuck. The reality is that there is no one correct path in life. Everyone has their own unique journey. A path that’s right for someone else won’t necessarily be a path that’s right for me. And that’s okay. MY journey isn’t right or wrong, or good or bad. It’s just different. My life isn’t meant to look like anyone else’s because Im not like anyone else. Im a person all my own with a unique set of goals, obstacles, dreams, and needs. So I stopped comparing, and start living. I may not have ended up where I intended to go. But I trust that I have ended up where I needed to be. I Trust that I am in the right place at the right time. I Trust that my life is enough. I trust that I have success in my DNA. I believe I am wonderfully and uniquely made.
