I dont even know where to begin to say how much it meant to all of our families to see the love and support that has been shown and given to us the last couple days! AMAZEMENT: is the first word that comes into my mind when I think of the hundreds of people that came to my dads wake, people waited over an hour in line to show their respect. We did NOT have one single break from the time the doors opened until they closed.. Amazing..The next word that comes to mind is LOVE: The last couple days although I knew he was a well liked man I hadnt known how much love people had for him. It made me proud to be one of his children, the stories I heard and the tears in peoples eyes showed me how truly loved he was by ALL that knew him...BLESSED would be the next word.. I am so truly blessed to have him as a dad and mentor BUT I am equally blessed having the Loving supportive family I do.. As many of you knew or saw I havent been feeling well through all of this and yet my family surrounded me and helped me through & made me strong enough to endure one of the hardest days in our lives! So this is a HUGE Thank You to ALL who have been there with what ever kind of support you have given, for some it was a thought, or a prayer, others made food, some sent a card, flowers,kind words or a warm embrace, whatever your way was know it was felt and appreciated.. I just wanted you to know how much it truly means to have such wonderful family and friends in my life and I love you all...
