I dont go much on all this test centre rubbish that seems to be - TopicsExpress

I dont go much on all this test centre rubbish that seems to be sweeping into surfing, by product of moulded mass production i guess, for me its more about reading or seeing something thats that grabs your attention then wondering how itll surf, maybe do a bit of internet digging to learn more about the shaper, and hopefully if the stars align finding a used one for sale somewhere to go surf. So yesterday im passing the time of day checking out new boards in my local surfshop when some rails in the rack caught my eye, in fact i got so excited by them i called over Boy Chops and made him compare and contrast them to everything else in the room. Turns out it was a V Bowls by Ryan Lovelace, funnily enough had just been reading about his boards in an old issue of Foam Symmetry the other day, and after looking one over (ignoring the dont touch signs) its a long time since a board has so intrigued me as this. not sure for my local shifty beach breaks its a good call on a day to day basis but definitely a fascinating board and another great opportunity for an alternative way to slide on a rare lined up day.
