I dont know why school costs keep rising if this is what our kids get. If all teachers do is hand out packets for the kids to complete, they arent really teaching and motivating kids to be interested in one field or another, which in my opinion is more important than covering the material. Have you heard of the college with free tuition, University of the People? uopeople.edu/ It shouldnt have to cost much money if all we do watch a video and take a test. Record the best teacher teaching the material and let everyone watch it, read some material, and take a test. Brilliant! Everyone could get educated. But many, especially youngsters, need face to face with teachers who inspire and motivate them to want to learn and to find out what they want to learn about. I love this kids tenacity towards his apparently lazy teacher.
