I dont like that anyone has to work in retail on any holiday. But where has the outrage been for the folks who manage and clerk at the 24 hr convenience stores. I for one have needed last minute items for holiday meals. Ill bet Im not the only one. Lol. Now that thousands are working theres all the huffing and puffing about it. I dont mean to rant....its just a thought that kept nagging at me. Be kind to the clerks. Smile, be patient, wish them a good day. Theyd rather be home in their yoga pants too. I didnt mind working at the nursing homes as a teen though. It made me feel good to be there with the folks who were stuck there lonely. Retail is another story. To the Drs and Nurses, Clerks, police, Firefighters, EMTs, ER staffs, and all who are minding the shed....were thankful for you. Have a great day friends. Be safe!
