I dont live THIS LIFE for the glory and self gratification. I do - TopicsExpress

I dont live THIS LIFE for the glory and self gratification. I do not get joy out of sweating, freezing, crying, being in physical and emotional pain, scooping never ending piles of dog and puppy poo, stressing over where the next dollar will come from or if and how we can find a cure for the illnesses that arise here. Nor do I want to compete with any other rescue or person. I choose to save lives that would otherwise perish or live miserable lives in anguish because I believe that someday, somehow, God will provide a human heart that will care, love and cherish each one of these so deserving souls. The challenges never end, HOWEVER, along with the dogs and pups that show me such appreciation for saving them, it is the kind, considerate, respectful people out there in our world that carry me through the lowest of times. I am speaking of the SOS friends who have stood solid with me through the THICK and mostly THIN times. Just as parents make mistakes, this rescue mama is far from perfect, nor do I ever claim to be, else someone should smack me in the head! Let me not dwell on the negative people or issues that are placed in my path, but instead, find happiness where I can in the eyes of the ones still here, the happy tails of adopted pups and their families smiles.
