I dont normally post but this has got my goat. Why do we English always punish our own! After watching the news tonight a serving active soldier delivered an act of insecurity and fear while serving in fear through fear? I do not agree with the act but, AFTER coming across part of his own command, slain, hung,drawn and quartered then hung from trees has got to be the most frightening situation ever to cross a soldiers mind. Not only were our guys killed but then mutilated and parts of their bodys strewn across trees for our serving soldiers to whiteness while having to still complete their daily military duties to protect and serve. There are rules of engagement and rules for prisoners of war! The guys hanging in the trees were they given respect and honour did they protect and serve. Two wrongs do not make a right! But serving under these horrendous unconditional circumstances must be protected in some way shape or form. I want to ask the question: You are serving in the above situation adrenalin pumping, fear for your life, fear of not seeing your family ever again! Fear you might end up in the next tree or many trees for that matter? Should they name soldier A? Comment if you disagree. Like if you agree.
