I dont normally post stuff like this but I think everyone should know about this...a computer virus known as crypto-locker was created in September and yesterday it made its way on to my work computer. Basically it encrypts all the files on your computer and puts a countdown timer on how long you have to make a payment to get the encryption key. I had two very smart computer guys working on this and while you can get the virus off your computer, there is pretty much NOTHING you can do to get these files back...So Daves tip of the day: I would strongly recommend backing up your important files before some shitty computer virus destroys two years worth of work!!!
