I dont often post on here, other than things relating to Encounter Youth Ministries PDG, but this is worth mentioning. I often get a little annoyed when I see professional athletes miss games because of sore backs or a bad foot etc. Sometimes it may appear that these athletes dont always give %100 when they are being paid an extreme amount of money and fans pay a good dollar to see them perform. The reason why this tends to annoy me a little is because I know an athlete who doesnt perform for money, has conquered tremendous physical barriers, and has been in the operating room 55 times. He continues to give %110 each and every time he hits the track. No obstacle, no sickness, no disability keeps him from giving his all. His passion is second to none, his willingness to succeed is undeniable, and his work ethic is to be admired. Again, my brother Mike Austin has proven that hard work does payoff. He is a true champion. Congrats on being selected to Team Newfoundland and Labrador to compete at the National Special Olympics in Vancouver, summer of 2014. I will be rooting for you!
