I dont really post much on Facebook. I will make an exception tonight. I just returned from a day at St. Josephs Hospital in Phoenix. My lovely lady, Jeri, has been bravely battling Parkinsons since October 8, 2009. Today the amazing medical personnel at St. Joes performed brain surgery and implanted a medical device manufactured by Medtronic that will help Jeri continue her battle. The surgery is known as DBS (deep brain stimulation). She did great during the surgery and is recovering nicely. Her PD doc even activated the device and began programming it this evening. I am proud of Jeri and her team of medical professionals at St. Josephs! I am also proud of the support we received from our daughters, friends, and family. Thank you all. Good night.
