I dont understand how someone can believe in minority party representation on elected bodies if it stands to benefit their own third party (for example, Green, Independent, or Unaffiliated)....but not if it benefits, or means a dissenting voice/party like the republicans will be required to be elected. I voted for Jason Catala. Theres many things I was told after about WHY did you do that?? He did THIS and THIS. I said, Of course I know those things, but I believe in minority representation, and a dissenting voice. He was the only republican on the ticket seriously running, I wanted his voice on the Board. I dont think thats crazy.
