I dont usually do these insanely long status but I feel this is needed! As I sit here on the eve of my first message as a senior pastor, I cant help but think of all those folks that have played an instrumental part in my life and are a huge part of why Ill starting this crazy adventure tomorrow morning! I apologize now for anyone I might forget! First to Cheryl May, who seen this coming way before anyone else did, except for my parents! Cheryl, you always said you seen something in me! So did Pastor Dan Burris, who caused me to think about what I was really doing with my ministry! To Pastor Josh Cougle, who gave me a chance and asked me to come on board with him (idk if he had many options) even knowing that his girls would be in my youth group very soon! Thanks to Pastor Todd Dixon for being the mouthpiece for my finally excepting what God had been telling me for 15 years and being instrumental in my sanctification!! Obviously to my wife whos first words when I told her I was answering the call were I dont want to be a Pastors wife! You have stood by me for this ride and have jumped on board with me and said Lets do this! Most importantly to my parents who took me to church at Fairborn Wrightview Nazarene when I was only three days old and I havent left since! I know that you, Myron Williams have prayed for me every day of your life supported me in every decision, even the one to let go of the rope at the swimming pool before I actually knew how to swim! I know that my mother would be right there in the front row tomorrow morning with me if she were here, but I know she will see me some day and be beyond proud of me!! I Love all of you!!
