I dont usually do this but I am seriously fed up with shitty customer service by a certain company - Panera Bread. I sent the following to them over two weeks ago via personal message to their FB page. I decided not to make it a public post and give them the opportunity to respond. Well they did and their response was that they would be passing my issue along to the store in question and they would be getting back to me via email that I provided. I have written them back twice letting them know that I have not received a reply and still nothing. That said, I have decided that I will now share my experience with you here in FB Land. They had their chance to respond privately and opted not to. My private message to them.........Doing my best to better my eating habits and decided to take hubby to our local Panera today for a late lunch. I am new to Panera and was really looking forward to checking it out. This particular store is #4185 on Semoran Boulevard in Orlando. We arrived (according to my receipt) at 3:53pm, and after ordering our meals and choosing a seat (most empty tables were dirty,) I went to the ladies room. There is only one stall, other than the handicap stall (which was occupied.) The stall door was open but the inside of the toilet was completely full and covered in disgusting, vile, fecal matter and/or raw sewage. I mean COMPLETELY. I seriously gasped out loud and the woman in the handicap stall asked if I was ok. I am 52 years old and I have NEVER seen or smelled anything so disgusting EVER. It had obviously been there for quite a while and had been left unattended by restaurant staff. They had taped a note to the stall door but I did not see it nor was that NEAR enough of a warning. I honestly was SO disturbed and sickened that I had a very hard time even eating my lunch, nor did I enjoy it AT ALL after that. I mentioned it to a young man that was working there only to be told that he would get someone to lock that stall door. Unacceptable!! Here it is after midnight and I still cant get the vision out of my head nor help wondering how the poor person is that ended up having to clean up the scene. It was truly disturbing and nothing short of requiring a call to the Health Department.
