I dont want this to be taken as mean or harsh or disrespectful or drama...but its no secret that the past few years, our church has had folks bailing like were on the Titanic...but God IS STILL with us!!!!! And I have to say we had a GREAT first night of VBS!!!!!!! I know He is going to bless us with a great week as these little ones learn about putting on the armor of God...and will remind us older ones that living in this life is a battle against the devil every day!! We ALL need to make sure we put His armor on each day!! No, life is not easy. We wont always get along with each other every day. We get aggravated and give up. We allow insignificant things to stress us out...and this is all within all church walls. BUT, HE gives us the strength and ability to continue on...through Him. NO church is perfect; or without issues...cause they all are full of sinners!!!! But I trust we ARE going to make it...by His mercy and grace!!!! So, I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has made the commitment to VBS (and any other function/activity)!!!! I know appreciation is seldom shown...but I want to make sure that each of you knows how MUCH it truly means!!!!! So THANK YOU ALL again!!!! And lets have a great week at VBS!!!!!!! :-) GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!
