I dont want to start an argument, I will state my stance on the Ice Bucket Challenge and the ALSA (the company being donated to) and leave it at that. I believe ALS needs to be brought to light and that the Ice Bucket Challenge is an amazing step towards raising awareness to find a cure. Where my issue is, is who ALSA funds to find a cure. They fund companies that heavily rely on embryotic stem cells to help provide a cure. That is what I cant support. Destroying a human life to potentially, maybe find a cure to save another, doesnt sit well with me from a spiritual standpoint. Therefor I cannot support this specific foundation with a clear conscious. I understand that people wont see eye to eye with me, but I believe we all have the freedom to live as we chose, and if you dont see an issue with embryotic stem cell research, then I encourage you to support ALS! Hope you all understand!
