I don’t usually do this but… When the capitalism say than paper written laws are more important than alimentary safety, then you know that capitalism is becoming crap. Due to the new TLC between Colombia and USA just in the beginning has already been withdrawn and destroy more than a 2,257,000 tons of food (idea.me/proyectos/9162/documental-970). According to the rules of capitalism and the TLC agreement this food, in perfect shape, cannot been given to people that need it because it will affect the market price of the certified product… That is true but if you don’t see a fundamental problem here then you have a problem. Capitalism without social responsibility is crap; by the way social responsibility is not pay bill every time we do something wrong, or give money for charity in order to get certifications in products. I agree capitalism push development, but let’s face it we cannot eat money, first things first. Those that still thinking Colombia is a pure capitalist country, you know is not when the farmers after lost their production say “don’t destroy it, give to the grandparents in nursing homes or to the orphanages”. I just have to say it.. Cheers!
