I drink coffee through a straw in any situation where Im in motion and could spill the drink on myself,such as where Im on the train or driving my car,I also think that I get more of a burst of caffeine drinking coffee through a straw Ive been doing this for over ten years,I used to spill drinks on myself,on the bus and I finally said I cant do this anymore,I have to start using a straw,I find that those lids dont work I still spill it on myself,sometimes I wont buy the coffee if they dont have straws,Ive only meet one other person who drinks coffee through a straw,people accasionally approach me and say hot coffee will melt the straw its never melted and it doesnt have the taste of plasic.
