I encourage all people in Texas to protest the Texas Voter ID Law when you go to vote in this up and coming election. Here is what I recommend; take all forms of identification (not your social security card) and present those IDs along with your voter registration card to the person registering your vote. And make the following statement, As a citizen of the United States of America, I am invoking my right under the Constitution of the United States of America to protest the Texas Voters ID Law. I am presenting you with all forms of identification along with my voter’s registration card. By placing many forms of ID on the table when registering at the voting poll. This will make a statement of opposition to the Texas Voters ID Law yet still not breaking the Law. This will be a peaceful protest as taught by Dr. Martin Luther King. In the event that you are told to only give one ID then repeat the statement As a citizen of the United States of America, I am invoking my right under the Constitution of the United States of America to protest the Texas Voters ID Law. I am presenting you with all forms of identification along with my voter’s registration card.
