The choice of the nation of Israel to be the bloodline and lineage of the Savior was to provide a Savior for the whole world. The prophet Isaiah would echo this sentiment, “For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all the peoples” Isaiah 56:7. God’s choice of Israel was so He could bless the world with a Savior.
