I expected that people would grumble about location and the distance they need to travel when I tell them about the caricature convention I am organising in Singapore. These are obstacles indeed and the way I see it, if you learn to overcome it, you will stand tall and face bigger obstacles that you will be brave enough to overcome with grace. Well seven years ago I traveled alone to USA for the first time just to fill my curiosity about a group of caricature artists called NCN that I stumbled upon on the internet. I had no money but was very passionate and curious about the art of caricature, despite knowing very little about where Im heading, I maxed the credit limit of my credit card and go. I made good of that risk as you can see. Tomorrow I am going to Reno, NV again. It would be the 10th caricature convention attended abroad. Looking forward to meeting many old and new friends - and Im going to convince them that its about time they come visit me for a change.
