I feel compelled to write something that is on my mind as the horrific events in Paris yesterday are revealed and we reflect on other recent acts of terrorism. The knee jerk reaction of many unfortunately might be to treat our Muslim neighbors as all being guilty of these crimes, which would be just what these terrorist Jihadists want. I feel that this is the exact time to make our friends feel more welcome than ever. This is America and our country is comprised of immigrants from all parts of the world, with no exceptions whatsoever. A very close example of how things should be is right here in my own family. My son, Arons 2 best friends are a Muslim and a Sikh. These 3 guys are amazing and celebrate each others customs together and enjoy what all American kids enjoy. This is truly brotherhood at the grass roots level. So I ask all to just take a moment to realize that we are all in this together and cannot ostracize anyone.
