I feel like I really need to make this post especially after the last 4 games we played and based on the comments some of yall are leaving to my posts during games. First off... I LOVE Penn State. I love everything about it. Im a 2014 alum who still loves his school and obviously Penn State football. The issue that I wanted to address is the posts that many perceive to be negative. As a fan and an alum, I am allowed to be critical of this team... everyone is. Doesnt mean I dont love every player on this team any less... doesnt mean I dont love Penn State any less... doesnt mean I am not appreciative of the sacrifices our players made and the courage they showed in staying during the sanctions. Part of the purpose of this page is to share in the glory and excitement when we do well as a school (not just football) and the agony and sorrow when we dont. Just because I made a joke about Hack now being Sackenberg or I am critical of his ability to never throw the ball away doesnt mean I still dont love him as a PSU QB, think that he is immensely talented, and happy that he is here. Same with the coaches and same with the O-Line. I knew it was going to be a rough year for the line and the injuries havent helped. Basically what I am saying... if I say something that you deem to be negative towards a player, a coach, or this team do not take offense to it or think that I do not support this team because that couldnt be farther from the truth. This is my forum to be able to discuss this team and school with people who feel the same way about Penn State that I do! The reason I love game days is because I get to talk to yall and watch Penn State play... of course after games like yesterday it feels like my heart was ripped out of my chest but that is the life of a Penn State fan. I know better times are ahead so the critical posts will be far less fewer but I just wanted to put this out there so everyone knows where I am coming from!
