I feel like crying! Been watching the Reds from 2002 and this fella has carried the club for over a decade. For me greatness isnt just about the quality of his play -which actually equates with Kennys -but when you add in the fact that he is one of ours, a boyhood fan who became one of the worlds best (the best at his peak according to Zidane) and stayed with the club through thick and thin despite offers from all of the worlds biggest clubs you have to say he has been pure class. You then throw in his genuine humility, his love of the city and you begin to run out of superlatives for the man. Have to admit watching that interview was lump in throat time. You can see what it means to him. For what its worth STEVIE we feel the same way mate. Thanks for the amazing vicarious realization of all our dreams. (And for the one that gone away our lottery is $50mill this week, got my name on the winning ticket - first up a time machine and swapping your boots with Demba Bas!). YNWA. Man Ill really Miss Steven Gerrard one of the greatests to ever don the Red Shirt!
