I feel like something changed in the north east car scene today. Like this is a new start in and two very different but very clearly defined directions have been laid out in front of us. Today, people stood up for themselves. They decided that they were sick of being called boy racers and having their reputations tarnished because of others, and they made this point loud and clear. Although I may have been the first to say it openly, it is to the credit of each and every person who subsequently raised their hand and said enough is enough, to the sheer volumes sick of having their names dragged into the gutter, that this opportunity presents itself. While the team from The Merry Modified and I will continue to put on our static shows, it is you that give it them the right to be considered as what the North Easts scene really needs and we are determined to make our mark this year. We now know, more than ever, that with the involvement of like minded individuals, groups and clubs, that this is more achievable than ever before. So lets make a change.
