I feel really sorry for any generation of people who never got to see The Ramones live!.... I had the honor of seeing them 3 times. I got to meet the Ramones in 1995 backstage when Sick Boys were opening for Rancid on The Out Come The Wolves tour... We came off stage and The Ramones were in our dressing room doing an interview with George Stromboulopoulus. I dont think I was ever more nervous meeting anybody in my life except for maybe Joe Strummer. These guys were larger than life and when Joey shook my hand and said thanks for letting us use your dressing room for the interview I almost shit my pants!... Next day I got to watch them in Hamilton on the Adios Amigos tour with Rancid.
