I fell asleep in the back of your truck & you fell asleep watching me. Watching every breathe, the way i move my lips wile i dream of memories. Keeping me safe, from the beast that watch me sleep with their binoculars. I a wake & find you transformed into the beast I fear the most, sitting in the drivers seat. Watching me. Waiting for me. It is then when I realized you were the king of the most dreaded. I couldnt understand why you switched to the dark side. I could not comprehend it all. Sitting their dumbfounded & scared it became clear to me. You were always part of the dark side. Waiting for my mind & heart to silence is where you found your glory.
