I figured I would share this with you all because Im a firm believer in positive energy producing positive outcomes. As you all probably know, Ive been working on a new project called Fortune Favors the Brave. We have hit the studio and have all instruments recorded, we have merch ready to be processed and shows lining up. Unfortunately, the release of this project has come to a halt because of me. At the end of June, I lost my voice (it just up and left me one day without any valid reason... No illness or anything close to it) and have only recent been able to talk with full tone in my voice within the past week or so. Well, tomorrow I have scheduled an appointment with the lead doctor for speech pathology at RI Hospital to get a videostroboscopy done. This means they are putting a camera down my throat to check out whats going on and why I have been unable to sing, never mind scream during the past month or so. My appointment is around noon tomorrow. For those of you that have read this and know who I am and what Im about... Im asking you to just please send your thoughts and prayers my way. Ive been hiding how scared I am about this for awhile now. Music is my life. Singing and being a frontman in a band (whether its local or hopefully we go big) is my true passion. If I were unable to do this ever again... I would be devastated. So please, send me your positive energy, prayers and thoughts. Because by 2 oclock tomorrow Ill know what the verdict is. And every cell in my body is praying this is something that will just pass, so that someday soon I can carry on with the music career Ive put so much time in to. Thank you
