I finally saw the movie Fire in the blood! In my opinion it seemed unidimensional - No comments from the African Govt. (their complicity & duplicity was evident by letting AIDS go rampant like an epidemic); No comments from Pharma MNC spokespersons (only one Ex- Director of Pfizer spoke) and at times it appeared like a promo for CIPLA! Even the Indian Govt who had signed WTO & TRIPS over 10 years ago, last year invoked the Compulsory Licence clause to stop Bayer & Novartis charging high prices for a anti-cancer medication & gave a licence to NATCO (breaking the patent for the drug)! I cannot believe the African Govt. could not do this!
