I find it a bit ironic that Maher goes on and on about the harm that religion causes (and I tend to agree that religion is more bad than good, but thats another debate), while he himself holds views that are very dangerous. His beliefs on vaccines and so-called western medicine are just as ridiculous and harmful as any belief that he criticizes. And, in most cases, it is more so, in my opinion. I am not saying that pharmaceutical companies are completely honest angels. No, there are certainly things to criticize. At the same time, the claims that vaccines dont work or that so-called western medicine is a scam is bunk.
