I find it amazing that Politicians, cannot get their act together. I would expect a more rational approach to the issue of the Alliance espeicially from Politicians like Elias Chipimo. Yes HH may be narrow minded but right now he commands a following that could be a game changer. We do not need a 20 year alliance. We just need a 5 year alliance. 5 years is enough time for them to put a new constitution in place and make sure that supporting legislation is drafted and implemented. It will also give time for new Government structures that may be created as a result of the new constitution to settle down. So lets not say we need to be more objective because objectives are not rocket science. We already know what the immediate needs of this country are and from them we can easily create objectives. Anything else can come later. The next five years after 2016 should really be a transitional period and so it does not matter who LEADS the alliance. In fact they can elect someone who does not even have a political party to lead the alliance so that their interests are protected. In 2021...they can then dissolve the alliance and run individually so that the best man wins...
