I find it extremely wicked when someone builds a 5 or 6-storey apartment building and make no provision for elevators or water supply, especially to the topmost floors. Seeing as the cost of running an elevator might be too high (talking about Nigerias power problems), what about water supply? Visit most apartment buuldings at Onitsha and youll see 10-12 year old children jacking 25ltrs of water up flight of stairs — something I cant do without getting wobbly at the knees. Oh Nigeria! Every sector of this nation seems to be dead.
