I find that Freedom is an essential ingredient for feeling really, really alive. Especially if it is the feeling of being free from fear - especially of death. I find people feeling they have found their soul mate, and then finding the soul mate is more of a should-mate. I find it an interesting phenomenon. When someone is attracted to a person because they are exceptionally alive, then, when they get together they present conditions for staying together – mainly, not to be attracted to anyone else - which kills the very thing to which they were attracted! Then, when the other person gives up their freedom they become ordinary, boring – because they have disconnected from their feeling of freedom. I know how it goes. the energy is so strong, and you are not feeling attracted to anyone else anyway, so you say to yourself: ‘Why not!’ No matter how *in love* you may feel, if the other has conditions - you are choosing to be a slave to their neurosis, and the very thing that attracted them to you is going to fade away in the end. It is very rare to find someone who is truly free, and when they are free – especially from the fear of death, they are actually in a whole different category of life and living, a very different level of being. Like a different dimension or a level of species. This state is so rare it is not easy to find someone suitable to live with in harmony.
