I find the outrage over this story to be very indicative of the educational backgrounds of those opposed. People are all for hiking the minimum wage and redistribution, until they realize that it is fact consumers that will carry the bulk of the impact. Basic accounting principles would dictate that an increase in cost such as labor will result in an increase in price. To think that an increase in cost is going magically be deducted from owners equity is naive and shows minimal understanding of how a business is run. Business exist to make money. If you dont like that, dont give them yours.
