I find this theory both fascinating and rather plausible at the same time. Why? Well, take a moment to consider the vast sea of possibility in this universe; the places untouched, unseen and unaccounted for. Or, that we are conscious beings, capable of engendering countless moral constructs and ideologies, in effect, transcending the material world. Now take a moment to consider the idea that we simply cease to exist as conscious beings once our vessels are damaged beyond repair. Do you sense a rather, elusive conflict? Ive always said that logical conclusions are extremely narrow, in that they can only go as far as the premises would allow. Yet, our entire understanding of the world is based on a set of logical or rational conclusions, arrived at by the predications afforded to us by a socio-economy almost completely decoupled from anything actual. You can oh boy me all you want or wave me off as some pseudo-scientific loony. That doesnt change the fact that we as a species have not thus far been able to account for many things in this world (simply because were too busy killing each other and allocating resources to further perpetuate such killing, in what can only be described as an inexorable cycle of senseless destruction). And I fear that as long as science remains as arrogant and absolutist as it is, we will continue to live in a world of misinformation and fear and logical conclusions arrived at on rather exiguous predicates. the-open-mind/what-happens-after-death-new-theory-suggests-consciousness-moves-to-another-universe/
