I fished the old canal/pit which I Had a good day fishing the pole, fished a line at 7m to a rush bed, and a line at 13.5m to the side of the bank. The 7m and the method feeder to the island line produced some good bream and skimmer bream on paste while the 13.5m produced 5 carp weighing in at 32lb in total. I was fishing shallow on a piece of bread. The biggest fish of the day was 9lb 1oz common carp, 9lb mirror carp and the rest made up the total weight. I must say that the lake is becoming very popular
