I forgot how it feels to fall in love. I forgot how it feels to fall in love, because everytime I get close to a woman she says something like: Adam youre too good to be true. Your too good to be true because I cant believe your young, single and handsome with no kids. Your too good to be true because your smart, ambitious, believe in god, have family values and treat me like a queen and that.... Thats just too much for me! See Im used to being treated like a peasant. Like a step ladder for my man to use just to climb in bed with the next woman. Im not used to good morning texts, or random compliments, or receiving flowers at work just because its Tuesday. Now once I hear that from a woman I quickly start to make my decent because far many times I have tried to put back the pieces to a broken women and ended up being cut in the process. So I forgot how it feels to fall in love. I have become so numb to emotion that I cant even tell when a woman is genuinely into me or just being polite because I brush them all of like dirt on my shoulders as if Im Jay Z in a mid 00s music video. You see I have forgotten how to fall in love, because there are so many so called thisty men out there bombarding women with penis pictures in their inboxes and dms that they have completely ruined it for us thoroughly hydrated brothers who just want to have a decent conversation with a beautiful woman online. I mean it is called social networking, isnt it? I have forgotten how it feels to fall in love because the good guys aint no fun, and the bad guys aint no good. I have forgotten how to fall in love because even though I meet most of the qualifications on the check list of the man of your dreams, my physique doesnt match that of Trey Songz or whoever your celebrity crush is that you actually would never have a chance with even if you did meet him!
