I forgot to post this beautiful girl yesterday. Meet “ CHEYANNE”- FEMALE - Shiba/ lab Mix, Tan, Short, thick fur, Medium size. Approx: 30 pounds, approx.: 2-3 years “What can I possibly say about my previous ‘home’? I guess the meaning of ‘home’ changes from person to person. The one thing I do know is that I had a home, at least for one time, and that suddenly, one night, I went for a ride, got taken out of the vehicle and was left tied to a fence with a blanket, a bag of dog food and a leash that said “ I love My Dog”. It was pitch black, woodsy and I was so petrified that I actually went to the bathroom on the only blanket I had to sleep on. I was found the next morning, shaking, and I tried to hide by laying as flat as I could on the ground. Fast forward to my life just a week later. I might currently live at the shelter, and be sort of homeless, and be surrounded by lots of other dogs, but, I am getting lots of attention, good food and plenty of walks. My vet appointment is being set up and as soon as that is done, more people will be able to spend time with me. I’m totally spotless in my kennel and I’m great on a leash-hardly any pulling and always ready to listen if need be. I have a kind face and a beautiful look about me. Add in my golden colored soft thick coat and I think I’m all that. Give me a little time to let people know me a bit more, get to know my quirks and personality traits and pretty soon there will be an update. Not entirely sure if I want to live with another dog yet, we will see on that. Have to think on the cat thing also…..” My next home is for life right?
