I found some interesting info at the Fairborn Library when searching the Kelsey side of my family. According to Ancestry, my Dads Mom, Mary Louise Green married Thomas Danforth Kelsey (my Grandfather) in 1917 at the age of 15. She died on April 11, 1928 within a year of giving birth to the youngest of her five children. And I found info on Marys father, Merritt Elmer Green Senior. Again according to Ancestry.Com his Father, Renesselaer Green served in the Civil War with the New York 4th Heavy Artillery Regiment. He was mustered out on 03 Jun 1865 at Alexandria, VA. He was about 23 when he left the service. Now I plan on doing research on his regiment.
