I found the attached article rather insightful. There is no doubt, in my mind, that CARICOM nations must seek a collective approach toward consumer protection, especially in the midst of the current push by those who seek to deceive us, concerning GMOs. As a result, I wholeheartedly agree with the concept described in the adjoining article. Belizeans and true friends of Belize, do not allow yourselves to be fooled by those who sing the praises of GMOs. Do the research and take all elements into consideration. Following is a link that I believe can provide insight as to why the proposed initiative of CARICOM is not only relevant, but timely. In this regard, I draw your attention to the case involving several African countries - datehookup/Thread-1267449.htm We must remain cognizant, become increasingly attuned and also proactive in supporting worthwhile initiatives such as this, in order to bolster consumer protection. Lets hope that our Belizean authorities are not asleep at the wheel on this one and if they are, it is our duty to awaken them! Think about it...
