I found this interesting during my studying this morning and it reads: Diamonds are beautiful and valuable gemstones, but their beginning is common carbon- black, dirty, and combustible. Through years of intense heat and high pressure, they become pure and strong. This makes them a good metaphor for spiritual strength; God uses intense outside forces to rid us of impurities and to perfect His strength in us. If we see things in this manner, when we are going through trials and tribulations, we would understand that the experience is only going to make us better (pure and strong); however, we must learn from the experience. I am here to tell you that whatever you went through will repeat itself again and again until you get it. We need to include God in everything that we do. In other words, we all have heard and used the famous slogan by Nike “Just Do It”. Although this may be good in some instances; however, we need to make our daily slogan "Put God First" when making decisions. We need to consult God, take our time and wait for an answer from God!
