I fully support my president in this! More and more President Obama reminds me, not of Abraham Lincoln (as most folks feel) but of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. We needed the auto industry up and running during WWII b/c, not only does it bring $$ back to the USA, during WWII the auto industry was VITAL to making the much needed airplanes and tanks needed for WWII. It also gave jobs to millions of people who previously had been out of work! Even tho we have machines to do this now, machines still need people . . . **We will use our air power.
