I get tattoos to remind me of important things, about who I am now so Ill never forget where Ive been and who I was. Ill never stop getting tattoos as long as Im alive and making memories. Each tattoo is like a page of a book, telling a story about a moment or experience or feeling. They gather slowly over time like pages in a diary, and serve to paint a picture of you. No two bodys carry the same story, just as no two people do. You cant get copies of it and you cant sell it. Its your story and only you can write it, only you can really read it all and decipher it all. Its like the saying wear your heart on your sleeve, but more like wear your soul on your skin. Never rush to get a tattoo just to be cool, or just to have more than your friend or to impress your boyfriend or girlfriend. Make every image on your skin mean something and remind you of something, so when youre older and losing your memory youll still remember these things that meant the most to you. Everyone should get at least one tattoo, that just represents them most. Nothing is more beautiful than a body covered in memories and art.
