I give thanks to JAH Almighty for bringing us back to Miami safely, for a journey full of intense impressions, moments and experiences. I was honored to be invited to play at the 9th Annual Reggae Culture Salute organized by the Coalition to Preserve Reggae Music (CPR) at Nazareth Regional Hight School in Brooklyn, New York, and I am humbled by the warm reception of the people who came to the the show. Brooklyn, you really showed me love and let me feel welcome! Moreover, the date of the event coincided with the 83rd Anniversary of the Coronation of His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I and it was a blessing to see the turnout and yaddings of Ones and Ones from near and far. RASTAFARI! A great Big up to all the Singers and Players of Instruments who were there, especially the excellent Widayyah Band, it was one rehearsal and you did a magnificent job. Valerie Kelley, for helping me out with backing vocals, thanks for your harmonical contribution to make it be a joyful sound! Freddie McGregor, who happened to be honored with the Pinnacle Award by CPR, and Etana who headlined the evenings line up, made it an extraordinary event. Kaydian Anderson Campbell, Don Donald Minott , DJ Yanks, Ras Osagyefo, it was a great joy to be there in the midst. Mishibu, the Riddim Queen, special thanks to you for being the initiator of this endeavour, which was once an idea and the happend to manifest as reality. Big thanks to Sister Sharon Gordon and Brother Carlyle of CPR for being the ones who organized everything and worked tirelessly on this promotional marathon campaign which finally resulted in a highly vibrant event. A special thanks to Dionne Dionne Beresford-Maxwell and Gail Zucker who were there all along with me on this busy and exciting and sometimes rough trip. A big, big LARGE UP to Ras Shiloh, Ras Congo & everyone from GTworld Radio who helped to promote and push the event to di max! And everone else who was there and involved to make it happen, countless ones and ones who helped to make this event an unforgettable experience. So all Praises be unto the Most High. Yadd on, CPR. Yadd on, all Singers and players of instruments. The road is still rocky and the hill is steep, but no one ever said that it is easy. One Love, Brooklyn. One Love, New York. One Love ALL OVER! One Love OVER ALL! JAH! RASTAFARI !!!
