I give up on this whole year in review FB thing thats going around. Every time Ive tried to customize it on my phone, FB crashes and I have to start over; and on my computer it wont let me select the photos that I want from earlier this year. So Ill put it in writing instead! Ive had the best year ever. At the end of 2013 I made my professional debut in All Is Calm at Mustard Seed Theatre, I then got to play a life-long dream role of mine, Angel in Rent at New Line Theatre. Tyler Jamaal and I moved in together and celebrated our 1st anniversary. I then got to play the most masculine and challenging role Ive played in my entire career, Chris in Hands on a Hardbody at New Line Theatre, and I got to meet the songwriter Amanda Green on opening night...talk about surreal!! After Hardbody, I played Anthony in Sweeney Todd at FMT and met some more really cool peeps. Then I went on to play the craziest character I have ever had the pleasure of inhabiting, Duke the marker sniffing, cooking spray huffing, ex-girlfriend chasing, road killing freak in The Great American Trailer Park Musical at Dramatic License Productions...what a blast! Following that I got to watch the magic happen every night at Bonnie and Clyde at New Line again while I box office managed the show. We brought home a dog this year. I filmed my first movie and got on IMDB. I was nominated for several theatre awards. I started taking voice lessons from Robert Ayllón, and I love every minute of it! I just finished a six week run of All Is Calm with the same brilliant and witty cast from last year. Im gearing up for my next role, Tremont the tranny in Jerry Springer the Opera at New Line. Ive had an amazing Christmas, I have an awesome family, and a partner in crime who I love to death! Things can just keep going this way and Ill be pretty freakin happy!!! Im done bragging now... Im sure there are several key moments Ive left out here, some for the sake of sparing certain people the embarrassment of being tagged in an epic status, but I love and cherish you all.
