I googled my the markings on my aquired TEAPOT and find that this mark dates to 1956-1974! Most the items in this quaint gift shop owned by the sweetest little old lady who had to be 75-80, if a day were brand new and all her things were priced so reasonably , her attention to detail and skill at merchandising were SHARP and CHIC! She had a few noticable antiques placed for style and ambiance, but since most of her items were new, i assumed this Teapot, by the price was probably also new and probably made in china, but it had style, size, and aesthetics, and the built in strainer feature that i require, and it had that vintage charm factor going on so i didnt care. I am happy to find that it will become an antique as it ages with me, as well as having a very collectable maker of schrinding of Bavaria. nice! ANother great PICK for me! :) Sipping my first cuppa made in it right now! :)
